Savoy Brown
Savoy Brown was never a huge commercial success, but nevertheless has been playing some of the best blues/rock for the last 30 years. Their most successful album, from a commercial standpoint, was Hellbound Train, released in 1972. Even though the band has had an incredible turnover of musicians, they have survived from their inception in the late sixties. They have released 25 different albums, the latest being released in 1997. Some of their classics from the early seventies were Street Corner Talking, Jack the Toad and Boogie Brothers. |
